This looks almost identical to an old Catholic drawing of Jesus that was allegedly miraculous in some way. I don't know the story behind it though. I just saw a print of the original drawing many years ago with a short caption that mentioned its special background story... and my memory fails me on the details.

That's about how I'd imagine Jesus - dark hair, dark eyes... perhaps olive skin, as well. He was, after all, of a Jewish family!
(As opposed to those Catholic Western depictions with blond hair and blue eyes!)
