Here's the finished Paper Cottage. Well, its actually the "Foamboard, paper and caulk Cottage" but I think "Paper Cottage" sounds better. This type of house is more advanced than a shoebox house but still simple enough to be done in a weekend and is great for fairy folk, miniature dolls or even as a diorama.Related content

I have been doing miniature houses for a long time but I dont make them like traditional dollhouses.
I make the texture with paper towels, textured paper or paperclay. I used a combo of all 3 to get this one to look right for my project. I also roughed it up a bit with some caulk. If you look through my gallery you will also find a tiny cottage that was made out of balsa wood, foam and paperclay.

Wow, I didn't realise you've don tons of great stuff. your gallery is really inspiring. I've started to experiment with paperclay, I'm trying to make it myself. The results look great so far but still a long way from perfect, but I keep on trying
