Bah this was requested almost a year ago! yes I know I'm terrible...initialy the problem was that I wanted to draw more creatures but didn't know what to draw so I agreed to draw this well by the time I got the description for it my art craze had passed and I was swamped with schoolwork...
(remind me people never to say I want ideas for what to draw when I'm in an art craze because chances are I will never draw them unless I do it THAT INSTANT and people will get disappointed >_>
...I never forgot to do this but was constantly either working on my own stuff or buisy with school so I'm glad I've finally gotten this done and just in time for Christmas
So I guess the timing did work out nicely after all. Sort of >_>I thought I'd have to finish this tomorrow but I actually managed to happily complete it in a couple of hours tonight so cool

It's great to finally see this! I like the way you did the circular array under it. The earthy tones seem appropriate for Mel request, but I find myself craving more vivid color in this piece.

I use a combination of Motion Blur (for vertical glow) and Gaussian Blur (overall glowy quality).
You really should, it's expensive but sooo worth it
