good morning Vietnam - leaving Hue
As I remember, it was on our way from Hue to Danang that we have made a short break to take some frugal lunch in a small restaurant on the roadside. In spite of the quite urgent need to swallow the traditional Vietnamese soup (more or less the single gastronomical element we dared to eat in all places), dictated by a nagging advanced afternoon hunger, when I merely observed the lake in our front, under the flabby light that penetrated with great difficulty the overcast scene and exposing a very unique atmosphere, I couldn't resist but to jump on my feet and start triggering a long series of shots. Neither the hunger nor Sarina' screaming could stop my febrile and hasty activity before the changing light that scattered the effect managed to do it. I precisely recall the feeling of "it was worth" to do it. I thought at that time that the "weak" colors under the given circumstances should work. It's, of course, on the beholder's side to decide eventually if I was right in this case.
