Description
It doesn't take much to make a sci-fi/horror movie, but in the old days people left out necessities, like effort and acting.MSt3k, your comical comments make most of these movies bearable.
I'm starting to think, since movies keep doing remakes, that the older horrible movies should be redone. The Creeping Terror came to mind. The Crawling Eye might be next along with the Screaming Skull.
I revamped the design, trying to stay close to the original. Figured a crayfish like face gave it some complexity and hideous features. The extra and more visible eating appendages around its mouth could be more detailed but I like them so far. I also included some large fangs just under its (head) eye area, to immobilize and push food in.

Great art! This looks like it'd be better than the "monster" they actually used.

Awesome! Love that design. We've tried to track down the original sketches by Jon Lackey the designer on The Creeping Terror to no luck but I would imagine it looked much like what you have here. Learn more about TCT at www.creepfilm.com

Thank you. I couldn't get past the carpet-thown-on-a-group-of-people look. I actually tend to try and imagine what these movie-makers were trying to do, but that movie had me stumped, but this interpretation of it is great!

Looks a lot better than a carper/popover that it originally was.
Have you attempted to work out the Devil Fish?

Well, when you think about it, Sharktopus is a lot like the presentation of the "Devil Fish": a shark-like creature with tentacles. The problem with that film lies in the fact that those responsible with making the film bit off way more than they can chew so we lack a true comprehension of that creature.

Not to mention bad actors, clearly toy guns, poor interaction with the digital creature...Just all bad all the time.

Bc the original costume was lost, or stolen, before filming and the guy had to remake it without professional help
