Description
Reptilicus, the monster from Denmark. An amphibious creature with an advanced regeneration system and a maw full of corrosive acid. I tried drawing it in a more non-puppet style and as 'realistic' as possible, though inspiration got a little in the way. Best reference I could use was a Mosasaur. The 'wings' or more likely fins don't seem to go well now but they did at the time...Related content

Can you make side view drawing of this awesome reptilicus so I can bring this design to life in blender? I like 1961 reptilicus film so much that I wish to make a blender remake of him with a more believable origin

I have never once seen a sauropod-inspired version of Reptilicus, but it works surprisingly well. He was compared to one in the movie(for some reason), and the added bulk givesΒ him a bit more presence as the melodramatic horror the movie insisted he was. More of an unstoppable destroyer than something creeping and slithering between buildings without doing much damage.
The comically tiny wings work strangely well too. Since his flying scenes were cut, they were basically ornamental, so why not run with that?
