Description
Uhhh... I just wanted to play with paint. Lots and lots of black paint. Whee! Randomly diagonal composition is due to the second window and decorative elements being fugly, so I blacked them out. Oh well. Not sure whether that's an Innocent Victim gasping a Vital Clew, or a Crook Who Had It Coming. You decide.
The Shadow is copyright Conde Nast or Street & Smith or something.

This is a very fitting piece for such a dark and mysterious character.

Thanks! Just trying to go in the theme of the old pulp illustrations!

This looks a lot like the illustrations for the stories.
Well done

Thanks! I was trying to mimic that style, but I'm not sure what medium they were using. Sometimes it looks more like charcoal to me.

All this black ink makes me think really. And that's not a bad thing.
Random diagonal composition might be random, but it works in my book. Makes the picture extra ominious. As if it already wasn't.

The Shadow might be one of the inspirations for V... he inspired a lot of stuff. And I don't know that artist real well but I'm OMG flattered! I have run across the Hellblazer stuff before. I'm not sure I'm that good yet...
It's funny how the accidental stuff sometimes works better than what you plan.
