I didn't try to get a page of Rueday done this weekend. Needed a break from that, but I did make a hippogriff colt. He has lion paws in front instead of eagle feet, but has a little beak. He's about 4 " long. Made of sculpey. This guy isn't finished, this is the first rough sculpt that I will refine and detail in gypsum.Related content

If you are worried about the feet, you could make him a sibling that is the same, and a parent where one is the Pegasus, and the other is a Griffin with full feline body and only avian head... but aside from that, I love how the beak blends on, and the paws look so totally relaxed, and even the slightly "too big" as they are with cubbies. I love it, super sweet lil guy.

Yes, this guy's dad is Snerl, a feline griffin. His mother is a normal horse. Well, as normal as a horse can be, married to a griffin.
