I don't like the way the writers are "developing" his "character" in Rainbow Rocks either. I'd rather have him stay a waifu snatcher than a klutzy waifu snatcher. In the first movie he was just a cliché (most popular boy in school), but from what I've seen in the sneak peaks of RR he is out of character (and by character I mean the definition of his cliché-y archetype)

I haven't watched the excerpts, just the shorts they released with the Mane 5 getting their instruments (I'd rather see the whole movie without spoilers), so I wouldn't know. Is it really possible that his character has been made even worse? That's an Acad... nah, this meme has been used too many times already.

(So it's both a perverted double entendre and a reference to a parody that's known for its black humor? That's like, double the bad taste! )
