I've used famous jokes before, and I've played with popular tropes, but this time, I've straight-up ponified a famous comic by the one and only Ryan Hudson. It's exactly the same as the original, dialogue and all, except with ponies.An important note at the end of the comic says,

The linework is excellently done. Your art style, at least for this comic anyways, seems somewhat simplistic, which only adds to the delivery of the joke in the comic.
Now, when it comes to originality, you're using somebody else's characters and putting them in a joke you didn't write. In terms of originality, I'm not entirely impressed. (You could have added in a bit of character dialogue to the beginning or end of the joke, might have added another layer, but sadly the only customization to the dialogue that I see is a replacement for "Snap my fingers" due to the impossibility of that with hooves, and adding names.)
The gradient background serves a couple of purposes, it seems. The brighter point of the gradient focuses around the characters, which I suppose is to mimic the idea of a spotlight on the stage, but the purple gradient becomes a little hard to look at over time. In terms of a spotlight effect, the original comic did it better, giving the light a defined barrier between light and dark colors. There is another noticeable gradient on the eyes of each character, adding a sort of depth to their eyes, which is a neat effect that still fits within the cartoon-like style of the comic.
All-in-all, this comic is nice, but there doesn't seem to be a reason for it to exist. The joke works just as well without the tie-in to MLP characters, as they don't really add anything to the punchline of the joke without additional dialogue and/or panels. In terms of art style, it's really nice, and easy on the eyes, spare the gradient background. This can be forgiven, with additions of subtle effects like gradients on the eyes to add depth. Overall, it's a neat adaptation.

This is always funny with the hypnotizing. Been done to death but is always good for a laugh, especially with the characters you would never expect (such as Derpy.) The vision is good as with Trixe hypnotizing Derpy. Any of the Mane 6 would have made this loose the impact that it has right now. Like I said, be to death, but it is always refreshing with new faces each and every time I se this (mayhap it is due to the psycho in me, but off topic here.) Your drawing is better then mine and the comic layout is in a nice easy pattern to follow. All in all, Good Job.

I thought that this comic was wonderful! I would have to agree with my friend below me, it's always the quiet ones!
I think that the art strokes are amazing, your art style is the best, and I believe this art can go far places.
I guess my only complaint would be the originally, I have seen a lot Derpy comics, it's wonderful though, it's a great comic and it had potential.
I hope the commenters agree with my Crutiqe, I'm sorry if that was a little hard to take in, it's wonderful art, and it's amazing how you got the colors of the fur just right!

Gotta say thats a rly well done line work. They have a feel that works rly well with the comic in a general way.
Your art is style looks pretty great as well, reminding me a lot of stuff we saw in the official comics, but still having your personal touch and thats a big plus.
I like your coloring, but i gotta say im not crazy about those gradients, but thats probably more of a personal issue, as they get the job done nicely.
In the end i think thats a pretty good homage to the original comic.

As always your line work is very well done, it feels like it should be in one of the official comics. Your expressions are wonderful, they really give the character life, and personality.
I loved the way you payed homage to the original work and did a great job giving credit and praise to the originally author of the concept.
I also really like how you made Derpy's the one to enjoy the fact that the audience was on fire, it has such a contrast to her character that it makes the joke work really well. Always the quiet one eh. ^_^
