Description

This is an acrylic portrait painting of my cat Olivia. She passed away in 2018 due to complications from bone cancer. She was only 10 years old, and her loss was a devastating blow. I had struggled to paint her portrait for years, since the grief of her loss is still very painful for me. She was a very special cat, who was more like a person. She seemed to know what I was saying, always followed me around, and was happy to go anywhere as long as she was with me. This portrait is a memorial for a beloved friend and family member who has left a hole in my heart that will never be filled.
