another pic squeezed out the week of a con~ Paint tool Sai was primarily used for this one.I wanted it to be a parody on Superman's classic shirt ripping, and instead of taking the glasses off Tennant is actually putting them on
-had issues on hair and God I hate doing pinstripes!
Most of this pic used stock, both for the Doctor's pose (as avid fans will recognize) and for the blurred out background. Definitely not meant to be representative of my art skill, but rather something fun to throw together on limited time.

Speaking of Paint Tool Sai, how do you like it? I've been considering using it for line work and such, I heard it's really good for that.

Sai's been good to me, and it handles my hotkeys a bit better than PS (I like to put zoom in/out, undo/redo on the home row). It opens faster and seems to take line strokes a bit more naturally than PS (depending on your brush). go for a trial

Yeah, I'll have to give it a shot. Last time I tried it the program was running into issues with my tablet, for some reason it wasn't reading the pressure sensitivity, but I'll have to look into it.
