Yeah...this originally was going to be a more winter-themed piece but it took on a life of it's own....ah well

So this features my OCs, Hikaru and Kurai.
Hikaru has begged Kurai to accompany him to a festival; he even had Kurai dress up for their 'date' (*squee* he looks soooo cute in those purple robes). However Kurai felt a little overwhelmed by everything as it is so new to him, and that he stands out like a sore thumb being the only dark elf in this part of the kingdom ('Dark' elves were segregated or banished due to a previous conflict to overthrow the monarchy). So they escape from the crowds into the nearby woodland. They hold hands as they stroll along the river when an orb of light floats passed them, then another, and another in quick succession. The glistening orbs dance along the riverbed as the couple look on, entranced by this beautiful phenomenon

...sorry I think I got a little distracted. Let's hope I think of something else for a Christmas piece this year lol
Also quick side note: Some people may (or most likely may not lol) have noticed that I've started making Kurai's skin tone much darker. After Inktober, where I used a darker colour for his skin tone I just fell in love with it, so his design does vary a little from my older depictions of him.
