Barley Moon is the Medieval English name for September`s Full Moon.. many different cultures have other names for it: home.hiwaay.net/~krcool/Astro/…It is also known as the Harvest Moon as September is the time of harvesting grains from the fields.
When the Barley Moon ascends the blackened sky, people celebrate the fruits of the year’s labors.
