Description
Recently there have been reports in the Kalos region of certain species of poke'mon with the ability to evolve into an ultimate form in correspondence to a held stone and a held item by the trainer. Legends in the Kalos region echoed these same rumors. The exact phenomenon is still under observation. While in its "mega-evolution" stage, the poke'mon assumes a new type, experiences stat changes, and/or may possess a different ability.

Mega Absol experiences a drastic increase in its attack stats. It also gains the ability "Magic Bounce" that renders any non-damaging attack ineffective to Absol and is reflected back to the opponent. Absol must be holding Absolite in order to acheive this ultimate form. The trainer must also be in possession of a special item, trainers with the ability to mega-evolve their poke'mon are still very secretive about the precise science of mega-evolution. Once the battle ends, the poke'mon will assume its previous form. Mega-evolution is not permanent.

I know it looks bizarre... it's a Caracal mixed with a lion mixed with... IDK, an eagle?? Hope you are all enjoying X & Y!
