Those are my characters from the manga i'm doing (The Magical Journey) and i will sell it on [link]I just have finished the lineart, so now, i will color it!
The girl name is Aiko and her pet is Starry (both are female...

Yeah, she's still sick... She's hooked up to a machine helping her out right now... but she got up some strength and got on MSN last night, so she's recovering little by little. I'm glad to hear she's doing allright, though.

Well, you could ask in her journal if she's feeling ok... I think she is, though. According to her latest jounal, she sounded better than she did, and wants to come back to dA. And you saw she submitted a picture, I see! 
But yeah, she's sounding better, though. Let's hope it stays that way!
