My both sets of rechargeable batteries are drained within 10 minutes, so I can mostly take 1-5 pictures and that's it 
I borrowed a p&s camera, with which I've taken most of my pictures uploaded this month, but it's very frustrating to work with that. I'll be getting myself a DSLR for Christmas, but oh it seems such a long time away! So I'm in a loss and whiney!

Oh..that really sucks. Have you tried with a new and fresh batterie?
Might be something else that is going on with the camera though.
Still it sounds very frustrating. 1-5 pics that nothing lol.
Indeed christmas is far away, but i know you will be the happiest one on christams eve
