The title of the photo is a nod to the painting "Morning" by Agnes Martin:

This abstract work with its delicately modulated grid evokes for me the freshness of the beginning and the hope, the blank page that one is going to start filling, perhaps that of a school notebook (which then also gives it a figurative character). This artist was very interested in patterns, especially in their subtle variations and interactions, with philosophical and spiritual considerations ( www.guggenheim.org/teaching-ma… ).
When one pays attention, the photo reveals several modulated patterns. The square grid of the paper and the vertical striations of the translucent cover combine to create subtle variations in lines and brightness (Moiré patterns). The binder rings seem to repeat identically, but their spacings and heights vary slightly, and this is not anecdotal - at least for the spider
