I've seen a whole lot of pictures of droplets covered in glitter, but I really love the snowflake bokeh. It makes it different from all the rest.

thank you my dear, it is my personal favourite too! i love snowflakes and this was a terribly difficult shot (it's really hard to focus sharp through an uneven snowflake cutout) so it was a bit of a project and I am terribly pleased with it

the droplet is just water, in a syringe with a needle on it, and you just carefully place the droplet with a needle on a feather. either put some small particle glitter on the feather first, or sprinkle it after you position the drop, see what looks best
