Description Here it is, my wizard costume from Fantasycon 2014 In SLC Utah! It was amazing! I loved every bit of it.
As for the costume, I bought a few things and I had a friend sew some things for me (I don't know how to sew, but I want to learn) But the staff was all mine. I made it from a rake handle, an old clock, a candle holder, a drawer-pull, and some little plastic filler jewels. Probably took about 4.5 hours to make.
This costume was heavily inspired by a wizard character from a little known Sega game called Blades of Vengeance. I chose this because Blades of Vengeance was my first real introduction to Fantasy.
And before anyone asks, no, the painting is not mine. I just thought it looked cool and got a picture next to it.

Yeah, the beard is actually from a Gandalf wizard hair/beard set. it worked well for the character, but I definitely look too young to sport a beard like that... but one day, maybe 40 years from now I can have a real beard like that. :]

You can start now, little whiskers here and there and in time they'll evolve into a mighty and magnificent beard. I support beards <3
