Second part of my winter sunset captures. Check the first part: [link]It has been freezing cold here in East Finland.
Yesterday I finally decided to go out and take some winter pictures. I'm not very keen at sunset captures at this time. But yesterday's sunset was very beautiful and I have to take some photos. I think that this one is worth uploading.
This picture gives me strong feelings about mystical serenity...it's little bit eerie. The river of souls in the underworld

To me, this is something more ethereal than the average sunset, there is a touch of mysticism to it, and that creates a different feel to the picture

there's of course a great overload of sunset pictures, i agree with that. but i like these because they are a little more subdued in color that sunset's often are. the mist/steam over the lake works great in giving it a more smoothing, mysterious touch that, to me, is a kind of funny contrast to the ducks in the forefront
