Autumn is almost gone here! A bit late but I finally drew an autumn themed picture!
My favourite season is summer (cuz its hot and the only season in which allergies and colds don't attack me) but autumn is one of my faves when it comes to aesthetics.
I mean who doesn't love warm red/orange/brown/purple color schemes *v*
These are my OC's Ashley (left) and Alice (right) in autumn outfits cuz I'm a sucker for designing outfits lmao
When it comes down to it these two are always the ones I draw when I don't know what to draw, which is probably unfair towards my other characters oops
I wanted to add roxie (also one I draw a lot) but I didn't have much time left for that since I drew it in one day in idk 6 hours,
which is mainly due to me drawing this entirely in Clip Studio for the first time without using Sai
That's also why it's kinda messy, I didn't bother with doing lineart and just colored my sketch

I absolutely love the contrasting oranges and purples, definitely sets the mood for autumn!
The orange highlights in their dark hair was definitely a lovely touch, I really love how everything was done here!
A small tip; since it seems the light source is wrapping them from both sides, I would suggest having a small drop shadow onto Alice cast by Ashley's body, especially where her arm, skirt and foot would be. I can see some shading around the foot and I think the skirt? (I don't have my glasses) but I don't see a shadow on Alice's hair where Ashley's arm would have cast it. It's a small thing but it really helps to add dimension!
This isn't a tip but more a suggestion: try using a texture overlay on your art, it could add really compliment your art!

I absolutely adore this! I love the colors first off, very bright and lively for the girls, but contrasted nicely with the darker oranges and browns of the background. I also like their designs, they're simple but memorable and eye catching as well. Lastly, their poses are great; realistic but with liberties to make them really come to life and pop off the screen. Overall, this is a cute piece, keep up the good work!
