Same...sometimes I don't want good shows to end but it's probably for the best that they do so they don't end up like certain shows who's network/creator etc straight up wont let them die and continue on and gradually get worse and worse like Spongebob,Family Guy, Pokemon etc,etc...

A series can go on as long as it wants so long as they always do something interesting with it.
...like the Sun and Moon anime for example :T. I rather like the direction they took with it, and it seems like a lot of people agree.
ย Jewelpet I feel was never quite a smash hit, but I do feel like it was killed off without reaching its full potential. Never marketed to the US, limited releases in Europe... I dunno, I would've liked it to continue on for at least a little while longer and have a proper end at least, and not cut off in the middle of its newest season.ย
Probably the last thing we'll see from Sanrio for a while too, I suspect. When they finished My Melody, they already had Jewelpet waiting to take her place. Two years later though and save for a halfhearted attempt to revive Jewelpet, I haven't seen anything from them that could succeed it.ย
