This is great! I love a well-executed experimental/conceptual fractal. The bright computery colors and blocky style go well together, and I think they are a good metaphor for nostalgia too: everything is fuzzier and more colorful than reality. A good mood at the expense of clarity.
And of course, being yours, this is very well composed and all that jazz.

Yeah, I took this cloud-esque perlin and corrupted it with the low-res transform to represent the blur of "back when the sun was always shining". It was a fun concept to make a fractal around :3
And I don't know if I should be happy or not for the last statement... It almost sounds blaming... :U
