Personality:
Baby experienced really bad things in his youth and didn't forget them. In the presence of a monster he becomes nearly untamable. He always wants to hunt everything down on his own. You shouldn't bring him out into the forrest if you don't have the power to hold him back. He's a really brave and strong stallion and behaves very well under the saddle as long as no creatures are around.
In front of the ladies he's very flirty and tries to catch their attention. He's easily offended if this doesn't work and becomes sulky and restive. In stallions and geldings he sees the perfect playmate. Sometimes he's a bit coltish but his rider can always rely on this great horse.

History:
As a yearling his old owner took him out to a hunt. An irresponsible act because the stallion was way too young to be ridden. And the worst came to the worst. The young horse balked at a monster and his rider broke his leg and couldn't move anymore. The monster tried to attack the defenceless human but the Equum-Bellum managed to banish the creature. He was badly injured in this fight. You can still see the long scar on his right shoulder.
His owner was convinced that the stallion did everything wrong. He was a selfish and cruel man and wanted to get rid of his Equum-Bellum. At first he tried to sell the horse but the yearling was distracted and behaved like a wild, untamed horse so nobody bought him. The man finally decided to sell his stallion in an auction where every unsold horse goes directly to the butcher.
Literally at the last minute XY descried the stallion and rescued him. It was a long way to gain his trust but he managed it.
