All things usually have little problems here and there. But, I appreciate the good parts, and also appreciate the supposed "faults", because I take it as an overall reflection of the moment in time. I appreciate it as art itself, is what I mean. The effort is important.
I also found funny what you said in the description about not wanting it to become a shonen-ai drawing. XD Is a threesome better? Haha...

uhmmm...as a fellow Eva fan I'll post my critical view here. I deeply apologise if it insults you in any way.
First of all - I really like how their faces and hair look. I like the expressions and the shading, you're good at that. But, as well, you should work on the anatomy. First, if you want to draw characters one behind another so that it would look anatomically right, try drawing the outline of the one who's behind. It will be erased later but thus everybody will look more realistic. Then, never forget to make sure that both shoulders/arms/legs are the same length. It's important, I think. It would be great if you read a couple of books on classical drawing. Not that I can do a realistic drawing, but such books really help.
And one more thing - you've really got a talent, I can tell. And everything else just comes with time. I'm sure that one day you'll draw better than me ^_~

Thanks for the long comment. Heh. I'm not insulted! It's important to get a butt-kicking (even if it's a minor one in this case). This will sound strange, but I usually draw people naked first, then put the clothes on, so that I can get closer at getting proportions correct. It's a really difficult thing for me, to draw bodies. That's why I was surprised when I saw your gallery. Thanks for the compliment/encouragement though, since sometimes I think of giving up! I promise to work harder! *salutes*

sometimes, so do I)))) I also draw sth like a skeleton first, in case the pose is difficult. And sometimes, I make rough sketches before the work starts. It helps too. Awwwww... I didn't mean tois comment to be butt-kicking. Sorry......
oh, and here's a [link] to one of my fave Eva artists. He has a ton of Rei/Kaworu art and short strips. He inspires me a lot and hope he'll be to your liking as well)))
