so yes, the seven sandwiches have control over properties of the 4th wall, prepare for some so 4th wall breaking they're surreal battles to come with more sandwich skirmishes. they have different powers over the 4th wall, and this battle with Zinzolin served to show how it's not about brute strength but figuring out a way to attack them and all. Captain coffee went through his whole team before he got a hit on zinzolin, though that hit looks like it'll be a finisher for sure.
the 7 sandwiches powers can't kill pokemon, it just puts them temporarily out of commission, hence why jack couldn't fight after his hp bar got broke, and why captain coffee's pokemon just fell over and got stuck. not that eric did much to help anyway, he didn't really have time to, captain coffee just kept up the bombardment of bombs on zinzolin till he snuck one on him.
hope you enjoyed this surreal battle with the hp bars and all, I know it's not as obvious as I intended, but look at the strings from zinzolin's fingers, they always lead to the fake hp bars and such.

Holy shit I love Captain Coffee. He's so zany and eccentric, just like a good super hero should be. 
I enjoy the Seven Sandwiches fourth wall breaking powers, especially how they can stop Pokemon from battling. It seems kind of overpowered, but fourth wall breaking powers are kinda overpowered in their own right. I'm excited to see if they can do anything more like that with them.

ah thanks, and yeah, 4th wall powers in general end up coming across overpowered, though in the end you just have to outwit, it becomes a battle of wits not strength. I mean, if they just stopped sending out their pokemon and beat Zesty Zinzolin bare handed, he couldn't have done anything since they don't have hp bars. there's different work arounds for each sandwiches power, and I'll have more sandwich battles to come too, thanks

oh yeah, I'm surprised more haven't made note of that jack part, but yeah, the 7 sandwiches never battle you directly in game, so can't exactly have them kill off pokemon, so I made it that they can't kill pokemon with their powers.
jack's alright, though he's been grumpy lately, plus Eric won't exactly be able to use aoshi in battle with the clay gym (since aoshi stole digging stuff from there and all, don't want to risk him getting caught), so we'll have to see how he fares in that battle.
