Description
As with all my stuff I started out with a basic idea of what I wanted to do for this Manipulation. I wanted to make a simple Gothic type portrait but I thought it need just a bit more and the crown of thorns came to be. Then I was thinking you know many people tend to bury their pain deep inside and not show it.

So it dawned on me that this pic would be great to represent that state of being. Here is a girl that is in obvious pain but is hardly show it but in a tear.

Anyway this started out as a poorly lit photo. I was experimenting with some lighting setups in my make shift studio. I really should have reshot this but I started playing around with this pic in Photoshop and one thing lead to another and before you know it I was half way through lol. The eyes where so dark that I decided to generate some new ones in Photoshop and I’m glad I did because I really like the way they came out. The hardest part of this Manip was getting the blood to look right on the cuts. Normally adding blood is easy when your dealing with color but in Black and White is was a little more difficult. Anything dripping looked to fake so I went with the crusted dry blood look. The tear was another difficult thing to look real too. I must had done it over 50 times and finally decided that what I have now look pretty good. Let me know what you think Good or Bad.
