nope, this was just a fun thing I wanted to do. I love painting, but because of Cerebrawl, I don't have much time to do it. Wanted to do a quick painting and keep the skills sharp

cool -- kinda harsh though, there's a lot of violence in mexico, and is hard to understand what you where going for in your drawing.
but, like I said, it's a really cool piece and I love the style

I feel you, I put the six shooter in there as more of a nod to the victory in Puebla when they defeated the French army. But I understand the concern. I wanted to paint something that was a recognition of why the day is important without resorting to doing a period piece, since I always like to give things modern flaire to them.
