See, now this is a gritty, realistic reinterpretation of a fairy tale that I would actually like to see fleshed out as a movie. Not whatever the hell that one Hanzel and Gretel film or I, Frankenstein were.* I really like the look and idea that this has. It reinterprets the classic tale without missing the point.
*I never actually watched either one of those movies.

It's so cute how many people are comparing this to RWBY/Ruby Rose, or even calling it a "fail" because the character doesn't have a scythe.. No bias there, really.
PSA: There's lots of characters out there based on little red riding hood and other old fairy tale heroes and heroines you guys... as well as plenty with monster or demon wolves as antagonists; not EVERYTHING is an anime reference, and not EVERYTHING containing a faintly familiar or maybe even inspired-by cuz heaven forbid that inspired by design be a thing character is a piece of fanart. Please grow the ever-loving fuck up =/
To the artist, I'm seriously impressed this is a speedpaint! Really love how the red of the characters cloak pops out against all the monotone of the rest of the piece. Good work
