More Mandelbulb microfauna.Edit: uploaded a new version with slightly different lighting, more background blur and a tighter composition.

Thank you! A lot of fractal art (mine included) overwhelms the viewer with a saturation of detail; it was fun to make something more streamlined and minimalistic for a change...

I often dislike Fractal art cause they are just randomly generated and rendered noise.. But this is different ! I like it a lot !

Problem with a lot of fractal software is that they have very steep learning curves, and at first it can be a challenge to create much more than noise and randomness. It's all about perseverance and learning from the masters - myself, I had a very hard time getting the hang of Mandelbulb 3D till I came across HalTenny 's tutorials and resources... and he is definitely one you should watch, among many others.

I think i have stumbled on his gallery once or twice before. Totally superb fractal art there. As well as in your gallery.
I like it when the fractals do more than vaguely resemble something. I guess that's where the skill comes into play.

I'm with you in that I also like to see (and make) fractals that resemble something - be it a landscape, surreal architecture or strange lifeforms. Mostly, it takes imagination and a LOT of patience to pull them off properly. In a way, I've found a happy spot with fractal art: while I have some ideas 
Purely abstract fractals are a different beast - they can look a bit same-y unless the artist has a very strong vision and eye for composition. I've seen some amazing works around but it isn't really my cup of tea.
