I've been looking for a nice hockey shot for a while now. I know whenever the puck's in my team's net I feel like that. Like, "Oh. I don't want to get up." Quick with the moment-capturing!

2 seconds after, when he turns around to see the puck indeed is in the net, is always the worst moment. My heart always drops to my stomach.

Maybe it's just because I just got done watching my boys ( The Washington Caps) almost lose their first playoff game, but I totally feel the disappointment. I can see and hear the fans groaning and collapsing into their seats in disappointment.

Yeah, I don't know if you can tell by the Icon, but I'm a huge Caps fan. I live near Washington, it comes with the territory. Also I practice hockey on the same ice as the Caps, so it's kinda hard not to fall in love with the team that you see and talk to a lot.
(Look on the bright side, you've got six more chances to beat us XD)
Anyways seeing this as a DD totally made my night, for the second time.^^

lol yes I see you are a caps fan... i like one cap - Milan Jurcina.... I watched him when he was a Providence Bruin.... The Flyers will be lucky to make it past the first round...we have horrible luck in the playoffs it seems.
Phantoms actually played the Hershey Bears tonight..... and of course they lost ..... Phantoms are already in the playoffs but the Bears are still battling...

ROFL, yeah this year the only team I'm worried about us playing is Detroit for the cup. XD
I mean if we beat Philly in the first round we probably won't meet Pittsburg again, barring something insane happening in the conference finals.
I'm actually really proud of the Caps, they totally deserve the chance at the cup, I mean coming from last place to first in the SouthEast.
Anyways, we still have to beat you guys three more times, and there are six more games, so nothing's definite yet.

Finally, some good quality hockey goaltender photography on DA! I can well imagine the lump in that poor chaps stomach when he hears the puck go past him. I look forward to seeing more!

Wow, this piece brings back a lot of memories. Sure, I don't play hockey (soccer's more my style), but that feeling of letting down your team never varies from sport to sport. Amazing shot, and congrats on the DD.

Oh poor dude. T-T That must really suck. Fredrik Norrena of the columbus blue jackets has ha da cruddy season, and he let in one and was pulled, and he was so angry he destroyed his stick in the pass.

awww I can remember going to a Flyers/Islanders game several years ago and I was sitting in the 2nd level but from where i was i could look down right into the tunnel to go towards the isles locker room and i could see the goalie flipping out. it was crazy!!
