That they are. We have a decent sized community of Harbor Seals in our Sound, as well as a few Orca Pods, they can be easily seen while riding one of the Ferries across to or from the Peninsula.

Dear Nikki: I think it depends on where you go in Belgium. I do not live there myslef, but I've been there quite often. If you ever want to go there again, try the region around the german borders. Nederland-Luxemburg. And than the top of Luxemburg as a real tip. 'Königslei' is a really great point!

I DO live in Belgium (the most densely populated northern part to be precise), so I know what I'm talking about. Of course we do have our nice spots, I think every country does, but it's just compared to our neighbouring countries in Europe our 'natural wonders' are pretty few in number and far between. In addition, I specifically meant the lack of wildlife with 'zero nature'. It's pretty much a highlight here to be able to spot a squirrel. Kinda nice to see you defend my country though

I have been in Belgium quite a few times (You are after all just our southern neighbour). For a dutch guy, you have quite some nature there.

That is too bad. I wish you could visit here, you'd almost never stop shooting I think. Luca would like it here too, at least until he missed his home I think your Zoo's are better than ours though. Ours seem drearier.

Probably, I'd love to travel outside of Europe some day, but I haven't managed so far. So I can't really compare zoos yet
