I have just realized yesterday (Pi Day) that today is Buzzard (or, for the people outside of the United States, Turkey Vulture) Day. Last year, when I first knew about this "holiday", I was extremely confused as to why turkey vultures were known as buzzards in the United States when there already is a bird known as the buzzard in the United Kingdom. Oh well, I got used to both sayings, but if an image/artwork is not provided, I still have to ask others specifically what they mean by "buzzard" when they mention it.

Okay, enough with the boring talk. For this year's Buzzard Day, I have made the perfect decision to draw none other than one of my favorite fictional buzzards because he's so underrated and deserves more attention. Boot Hill Buzzard honestly has a cool design - he's a buzzard who's a grave digger, and I don't know what's cooler than that. He may not be smart, but he sure is fun for me to draw!

To anyone who likes turkey vultures, happy Buzzard Day. To anyone who dislikes turkey vultures, happy Buzzard Day. To anyone else who has no idea what a buzzard or a turkey vulture is, happy Buzzard Day. Basically, if you exist on this planet at this moment, please take a moment to appreciate buzzards right now.
