As many layers as you could want. Are you referring to Adobe Ideas? How do you like it?

i was just wondering cause it looks like you do yours in layers. i use layers in adobe but never thought about using them on my vector art.

Definitely layers. In this I think I had four or five. A "base" layer, one for shadows, one for highlights, and then one or two for various details.
