Everything about this piece is elegant and beautiful. It looks as though it could be painted on silk. I especially like the cranes closest to the foreground. The curves of their wings and necks are lovely.

I love love love the simplicity of the background. And the cranes. And the color scheme. Something seems a tiny bit off about her neck and shoulders, but I could easily be wrong. Otherwise... this picture is distressingly perfect. D:

There's some nice parallel about a first glance from the beautiful woman having some consequence, but that the second brings down the entire city.
BTW, I forgot to mention that I liked the color choices and implied shapes in the picture. Really -- very nice work!
