Ah well I was just bored in class one day since we were done with the lecture early so I decided to do what I do best, doodle.

This started off as a really rough sketch and the more I thought about it the more I thought this angle of the face and ugh I just dunno, in my head it just kinda screamed "This one has potential! Don't give up on it!" cause if you know me, ya'know that I'll sketch something then never go back to it.

At first I wasn't planning on really making her a Native American (yes that's what she is if you haven't yet realized it), but after visiting the reservation 'cross town, I rean into a full-blooded, and absolutely gorgeous Native guy who looked really close to my age. I'm talking 'bout amazingly red-clay-colored skin, the raven dark long hair, strong features and ughhhhh so friggen gorgeous! And being reminded of how beautiful they are, it made me really proud to be part Native American.

So I sort of created this to show my pride as being part Native American.

At first I wasn't really planning on using pencil, I really wanted to try using paints or pastels or something else, but since I only had time to work on it at school I ended up using pencil for it through and through.

Pencil type-> 0.7 leaded mechanical pencil

And I really like this picture, even though I told my mum that she could have it I'm gonna keep it for my portfolio~! I really need to put one together so I can start applying to those colleges.....Buuuuuuuuu

Oh! Fall break's here so I'll do my best to start updating a little more~!
