Lovely bit of work - just found it doina search - only thing that stops my faving it is the way the trunk zigzags a bit regularly in the mid section, plus doesn't seem to get thinner

were more of a visual dichotomy between
the traditional drawing style and the

It is so lovely, the background looks as if it is a aging piece of paper.
The tree is done just right its so simple yet retains a certain complexness to it.
The colors, lighting and shading complement it wonderfully. Beautiful piece, it has an almost forgotten age feel to it, great work

Looks like acient tree, great tree once stood it's purpose for the shades over the wise and the sage rome the land and taking a rest under it, many years ago.
Good work, great style. Perhaps do a massive collage of this, with people, and trees, and mountains, etc...
