i had a cat named sarah who lived to be 15. when she was about 10, she became addicted to tv. she had a piece of cat furniture that she sat on and watched. if we would not turn it on because we had company or something, she would turn and stare at us until we did. then she would turn around and watch. the thing that got her interested in tv was the birth of a baby cougar on animal planet. after that she liked to watch animal planet but would settle for anything.

My 5 year old nephew is just like this, always either sitting in front of the TV and/or playing video games!
