Hi, well it's not raining out! Yahoo, so I got up and went out before sun up. I went to my friends farm near the marsh. On the way in,this wild Turkey hen was feeding in one of his hay fields. So I crept in and waited for it to come closer in my direction. I got a few good pics of her and then moved off..... Enjoy!Related content

Hi Iris, yeah some do if they hunt. The store or farm raised bird is a far cry from these wild ones....the wild one have less meat on them and they are tough as nails..not like the customary dinner table bird.I have tried some wild turkey, and from my experience...I won't try it again!given a choice, I'd rather have a burger!

Usually just the Toms. Also for Thanksgiving and Easter too. Hens aren't legal to shoot everywhere.
