Description Hi,  This year we had a very wet and cold spring, with a couple of storms that flooded the marshes. when they flooded, it ruined the nest of the ducks, geese and swans. the geese never really tried a 2nd nesting like the swans and ducks. being smaller, the ducks worked out ok, and they look just like adults now. the swans being way much larger take longer to mature and get full flight feathers so they can migrate south. from the next 3 pics I'm posting you can see how much further they have to get before they can fly any real distance. I think about 2 more weeks should do it, but it depends on the weather and food supply, as the frosts have killed off all the bugs they used to eat... they still have the grasses but for how long ..can't say.
