Hi!

Long time no see.

Decided to post a couple of sketches from my virtually unscannable sketchbook to make up for my lack of uploads in the past month - been busy with exams - sorry!

Now that I am free I was thinking of taking up two -three requests and then commissions if anyone is interested. Anyone?

to give a quick explanation of what's happening here:
1) I went to see a ballet performance in a friend's dancing school and this one performance that she did made me think it would look good as an oil painting. Here I just made a sketch to remind myself of the performance in the future when I'll take up oil painting more seriously.

2) I was flicking through a magazine and saw this brilliantly simple portrait of a boy for the Burberry campaign - so I had to impulsively draw the crackers out of him.

3) Reference for the pose was taken from the same magazine (French edition of Elle from some time ago) but this time it's my own character Chameleon for the story I've been conceptualizing for a while now.

4) Random doodles are random he..hehe *nervous laugh*

5)Some of old Avatar episodes were airing on TV a few days ago and I just kept thinking that the only outfit I think Zuko looks really good in is the gray one he's worn in the Northern water tribe episodes. The costume (imo) represents the smoke and his state of being - something far less uncontrollable and rash than fire and by far the most compatible form with the airbending Avatar Aang.

In other news, I've just gulped down in one sitting the book called "Looking for Alaska". It's really good!! (But please be warned, it has some mature and ideologically sensitive content, so maybe contact your librarian/mom before borrowing/buying it(?), especially you young ones). If anyone has read please TELL ME!!! I'd like to chat about it while it's still fresh in my mind.

Yes yes, I'll probably draw a fanart of it too oTL
