I can't help but feel this in a negative way. Clinging to the past and never letting go is only a depressing way to die. Now if there was a last panel where she burnt/or left behind the re-creation she made; then I'd feel it had the right ending. This just makes me want to yell at her "Stop living in the past! It'll destroy your future!".
