I thought I was prepared for this scene to be animated, and I wasn't. It wrecked me and left me bleeding on my fucking sofa because it was so beautifully made and yet so heartbreaking. Your drawing expresses it all. His emotions, fear, pain, regrets. And yet he was able to give up on his dreams and charge into battle with those recruits just to win the war. God, I loved him.
I absolutely adore those raw emotions you portrayed in this drawing, it's so accurate. This is so beautiful, incredible work! You've earned yourself a watcher, wow!
