Description
This is an original oil painting on a handmade wooden canvas portraying commuters as puppets in a colourless and featureless landscape. The sight of the sheer quantities of commuters in London all dressed identically, seemingly with no personality, no purpose beyond their daily business commute, makes me uncomfortable and was the source of inspiration for this painting, which was part of a series of social commentary pieces.
The painting is almost square at 87cm high x 84cm wide and is approx. 2inches deep.
(Sorry for the flash glare! The painting sold and I don't have any better photos!)

What I think of this picture: just the illustration of Grey Men from the book "Momo"

Great painting, I really agree with the thought behind it. Sometimes it seems like you have no other option than to deny yourself to find a job and survive in this society.
The more strings you have attached to you, the more you've died inside.

I know what you mean, to walk into an office and see everything so uniform and the same, it chills me to the bone.

While I don't necessarily agree with the ideas behind your work, it is a very effective piece.
