Yes it is an absolutely beautiful area, one of my favourite spots. They were married on Signal Hill, which is a national historic site here in St. John's. It's where Marconi received the first trans-atlantic wireless message among other historical connections. It's a beautiful spot where I personally love to go with a camera or just to sit and think. Actually, my devID and desktop were also made with pictures taken from Signal Hill, although from the opposite side of the hill from where the wedding was held. I must say, they had an absolutely perfect day for their wedding. It's generally quite windy at Signal Hill which was a bit of a concern, but that day there was just a gentle breeze blowing. Enough to blow her veil around but not enough to cause any real concerns or blow anybody off the cliff

Aww thanx. I was the Maid of Honour at their wedding so I had to give a little speech/toast to the bride thingy at the reception. I worked this poem in, minus the "As that day approaches..." bit since that didn't really fit anymore.
