Okay have I told you how much I love the way you draw hair, and Roger's hair especially, it looks so flowy and beautiful and the watercolour you use for it complements the hair perfectly, same applies to our son's hair and everybody else's... Also your realism style is so neat holy fuck. The way you draw hands is A+ and your sense of proportion in bodies in general is A+ as well and I ADORE THE WAY YOU DRAW EYES.
Your lines are seriously beautiful though. They're so clean and perfect and your colouring complements them so well and I'm jealous of your colouring, your depth perception is exceptional, and drawing abilities in general, damn you. Furthermore, YOU CAN DRAW CLOTHES PERFECTLY AND ALSO SEMI-NEKKID LEETLE BOYS PERFECTLY IT'S A WIN-WIN SITUATION, ONE TO ONE FUNCTION. I've tried my best to factorise the equation which is your art, but I can never find all the factors of this damned long equation because the highest power of x is probably something like 23894082903840918908902893089021890u129130. OMg my painttool sai still doesnt have smudge tool 8<. Whats the main tool you use? :3. Also, HOW DO YOU LAYER THE HAIR SO GOOD?! As a roger pretherin you must teach me the trick to his and jacks amazing hair 83.

The main tool that I use for coloring is usually the water tool... Or the water tool and the pen tool blurred x408972375. I add some other patches of color here and there with the airbrush, but it's barely perceptible. It's for variation of tones, not for very much else... And I outline with the pen tool.
Most of the time, I rush through the hair... it's usually the last thing that I color and I spend the least time on it...

The marker tool is dumb, I never use it. The marker tool is good for blurring and such. When you color over the marker tool, it only gets darker. It's like... a marker. But with the water tool, it'll get darker or lighter, or it'll blend or sharpen lines. The water tool is very versatile, but it's difficult to get used to, so I hear... Seeing as it has so many uses. But it makes it easier because you don't have to keep switching between tools.
Well, right now, I have 260... but I don't answer messages, so people don't reply. On an average day, I get 6 messages. Eh, I'm lazy.

Dont worry im lazy too, except i know what it is like to wait for someone to reply to an awesome comment so i try to get on DA as much as possible and answer them ^^.
Yeah the marker tool can be that way sometimes. Ill see what the water tool is like. I just find that it takes too long to get from light to dark.. but ill relook at it :3.

Yup, like a marker~ It's streaky and uneven and stupid. It's really good for layering colors on top of each other, though. Especially if you want to preserve the clarity of the layers underneath~ Say if you want to put blue atmospheric lighting over a warmer skin tone or something... that's what Mr. Jackfruit does.
Oh, you can always put a little splotch of color with the pen tool if you don't want to wait for it to get darker~ Then spread it around with the watertool... like icing! (I suck at similies)

Im using and experimenting with them water tool now..... Messing with its settings..I cant make it go from super light to super dark easily with pen pressure :<. But i like it ^^. Mr. Jackfruit? Who is that? :3.

Eheheee, I like Maurice~ Yeah, he looks like he could be related to Simon... Simon's big brother! I just gave Maurice darker skin and darker hair that isn't as shiny as Simon's~ And he's taller and fatter and has wavy hair and gray eyes. Because of reasons. I suck at creating characters.
