I used adjustment layers like color balance and channel mixer. I use adjustment layers in almost every photo. They are better than normal filters, because u can change settings afterwards.

Very awesome picture... and its amazing that the quality is as good as it is... considering as you said that you have a compact digital camera. I was puzzled for a while, looking at it, but it was a good puzzlement... fun to look at.

What really makes this picture special in my mind is the textures. The bristled seeds, the feathery parachutes, and the naked head of the dandelion. Very nicely done.

Actually whole Dandelians series focuses making strange flower pictures. I have seen so many ordinary and boring flower pictures, so I wanted to make something special.
