Done for class. We were given random newspaper comics and the assignment was to draw 1 comic in that style and 1 in our own.9 x12 bristol with brush/ink

My only critique is that you watch your text placement- I read the "touche" punchline before the "But...if you have cake" line. It's so much farther to the left side of the panel that my eye gets to it first.
Also your style is way better than the other one.
