This is Kaela again.I usually wait a few days between submitting pics, but this was paired with the last one so I figured WHAT THE HELL and submitted. voila.
This shot was copied from an ad we saw in a magazine (pics soon). The backdrop is this really cheesy castle thing, and we worked on keeping as much of it out of the shot as we could LOL. but the background was a nice blue
the lighting was just a big square light (i'll find out the name of it later) that we drug over to this castle-y set (the only light we could fit over there!) and it was about 6feet from her.
The makeup was basic, I'm not quite sure if anything special was done, I'll ask Jenna later.
Clothing, she was originally wearing this black sweater thing, but it didn't look right in the pic and so me and her traded shirts (it's my white oxford... looks a bit big on her, doesn't it?
) the windblown hair, haha - we found a fan and jenna was holding it a few feet from her right out of shot. we thought it was kinda funny but it turned out nicely .

She's looking right at the camera, and that's usually not good, but I think you did alright. Try to drop this whole lighting thing, go outside grab your digi and find natures light that's perfect for your needs.

for this shot, all i used was err.. this big square light. i forget the technical term for it, but it was a big rectangle with like a screen over it. that's all, it was about 6 feet from her. i'll be posting up pics of the setup soon
